On Tuesday night, Leica held the grand opening reception for the new Leica Boutique at Willoughby’s Imaging Center on Fifth Avenue in New York. It was an event to remember with celebrity hosts Matthew Modine, Alex McCord, and Patrick McMullan. President of Leica Camera North America, Roger Horn, as well as Stefan Daniel, Director of Product Management from Leica Headquarters in Germany, were also in attendance to celebrate the iconic partnership between Leica Camera and Willoughby’s, New York’s oldest photographic emporium.
In addition to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, guests enjoyed a photography exhibit by renowned Fashion Photographer Nevil Dwek who showcased his latest work shot with the Leica S2. One of his photographs was auctioned off for $1,100 in support of the charity Bicycle for a Day.
We encourage everyone to visit the new Leica Boutique at Willoughby’s Imaging Center to view Leica’s full product portfolio, from point-and-shoot cameras to rangefinder and medium format systems and binoculars. We are pleased to offer another source for information on all Leica-related topics. Feel free to leave your thoughts on our new retail location below.

I am a physician in Atlanta and President of the Atlanta Physicians Photography Club. I have communicated with Leica’s local representative Nick Langley, who happens to be an exemplary employee of your company. I want to introduce Leica to our photography discussions, but don’t have an M9 to display.
I have spoken with Nick about this issue and each time get cold feet when it comes to paying for it. Is there a way I could borrow or buy one at a reduced cost to become familiar with and demonstrate to my group of physicians, which number about 80-100. Thank you for your consideration. Bob Spector
