Les Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie d’Arles opened on July 7, 2014 and runs through September 21 with 50 exhibits and stages on display. For this year’s theme, François Hebel, director of Rencontres d’Arles, has chose to feature the names that have made the reputation of the festival, including Lucien Clergue, Raymond Depardon, Christian Lacroix and Martin Parr.
Leica Camera is on hand this week and will be reporting on the meetings with professional photographers from around the world, debates, book signings, seminars, screenings and more. Photographer Nathalie Seroux shares her images from opening day.
