Kumamon is the ambassador of Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan. Kuma means bear in Japanese as well as a mixture of the words of Kuma and Kumamoto. Mon means person or thing in local dialect of Kumamot area, and he is one of the most famous mascots in Japan. A few years ago, Kumamon started visiting European premium companies once a year, and this year, Kumamon visited Leica commemorating the opening of Leitz-Park.

You’d think given where and what these photos are for they would have taken a bit more care. E.g camera man creeping in left of frame (image 2), apple product placement (image 10). That said looks like Kumamon had a good day out ๐
