She recently discovered that she has armenian ancestors like so many in Mus, but decided that the kurdish and islamic part of their identity was actually stronger. She therefore decided to stay within the boundaries of her life. But with more time passing since the genocide, more and more stories of armenian family-roots begin to emerge and a growing number of kurdish people are asking for their ancestors.
